I wanted to share some of my favorite music related articles of 2012. I highly recommend the following reads. I'm sure I forgot quite a few notable works. But these are the write-ups that either articulated a narrative far better than I ever could, or forced me to take interest in a subject I never much cared for. While constructing this list, I found it interesting that so many of the authors are visibly familiar with each other via social media. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but it's interesting nonetheless. I'm also curious as to what articles you guys enjoyed this year. What did I miss? It feels like a piece of the blogosphere died the day Google Reader's sidebar share widget expired.

ReplyDeleteMe too. Hopefully that it assists bagging that impossible Complex message boarder list. Really though - theres lists for best Seinfeld kicks(I loved it but still) but nothing for us young savages to learn more about Seagraves and Will High?
I mean jokes is jokes but ets make this a movement lads.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I kind of worry that only other rap bloggers read and care about what other rap blogs write and we are all just having a big internet circle jerk as we type away with a false sense of importance. ¯\(°_o)/¯
