While the bulk of Distant Relatives embraced themes such as unity and awareness, interviews following it's promotion tour revealed Nas' next full-length release will feature a fair share of aggressive content. Unlike 2010's previous Pablo Escobar sightings (DJ Khaled's "Victory" and Green Lantern's "Last Real Nigga Alive II"), there are no moments of reflection or abstraction in "Snitch Alibi". Instead Nas settles for a scathing critique of federal informants. The results are, for lack of a better description, gangster. Particularly the song's outro.
